Births and Dedications
Having a new baby is both an exciting and challenging time and we want to help your family in both practical and spiritual ways.
A female pastor will visit the expectant mum shortly before her due date to talk and pray over the forthcoming birth. So do let us know when your baby is due to arrive!
Please also let us know when labour starts. Our prayer chain will pray.
We love to visit the new-born and parents as soon as possible. We bring a special new baby pack to each family.
In the days following the birth we will organise home-cooked meals for you, if you choose.
Each child is a gift from God. The act of dedicating babies is not compulsory in the Bible, but it is good to:
- give thanks for this new life
- set them apart for God

- make promises to bring them up right
- bless them and receive God’s promises for them
We encourage each family to dedicate their babies as part of a Sunday morning service and we aim to make this as personal as possible.
