History
In January 1953 the Home Missions Department of the Assemblies of God held a pioneer mission in Leicester with the evangelist Pastor A.C. Valdez of the U.S.A.
Shortly after that a church was started called Faith Temple in Leicester and led by Pastor Pearson. A group of people in the Highfields area had prayed over a bomb site during WW2 that a church would be built there and the ground was purchased and a building erected.
Pastor Botham of Llandrindod Wells was appointed pastor on the 12th May 1955 and the church was then known as New Trinity Church.
Pastor Botham resigned on 29th March 1981 and Brian Niblock became the leader of the church on 28th March 1983, his induction took place on 14th May 1983.
Over the next years the number of people at New Trinity increased and it was obvious that larger premises was needed. It was agreed at a meeting that we should stay in the Highfields area and though a number of other buildings were considered in the end it was decided to extend on the present site.
There has always been a vision to positively impact all people groups in Leicester and this is reflected in the many nationalities in the church.
New Trinity Church changed its name to Trinity Life Church in 2005 and completed an extension and refurbishment programme enabling us to proactively get involved in the local and wider community.
On September 2, 2007 David and Susan Hind took over as senior leaders at TLC.
