‘He has shown you, o man, what is good, and what does the Lord require of you? To act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with your God.’ Micah 6:8
At TLC we have a growing passion for justice and a strong desire to be a “voice for the voiceless”.
We are involved in justice in a variety of ways. Here are a few:
- CSW letter writing - a growing group that writes a simple monthly letter on behalf of persecuted people
- Voice for the voiceless prayer - crying out for the persecuted church – see prayer postcard
- Fair Trade - We are trying as much as possible to use fair traded products
- Open Hands -Through our compassion work, we increasingly get involved in seeking to change the lives of those we meet
- Beauty for Ashes - Women from our Open Hands Compassion Unit making beautiful crafts to sell
