Your Story?
And what about your story? It may be that the story of your life has been a fairytale so far … or a story filled with pain and disappointment. The likelihood is that it is some where in between the two.
How would you like the rest of your life to be?
And what about when this life is over?
As Christians we believe your best life is ahead… if only you take one simple step:
The answer lies in the heart of what you were created for … a relationship with God.
But there is a problem…not one of us can come to God on our own…He is holy and pure and we are not. We actually all deserve his judgement.
But God has not left things there. He loves us and wants a relationship with us so much, that he sent his son Jesus to die for us and make it possible for us to receive abundant life instead of death.
All the stories you have read have a key moment – it’s the moment when Roger, Graham, Resham and Becka crossed from death into life, and found a friendship with God and a new life that will go on forever in heaven.
It is the moment that they prayed a prayer that went something like this:
Father God, I want to know you. I want this new life. Thank you for sending your son Jesus to die and rise again from the dead so I can receive it. There is a lot I do not understand right now, but I ask you to forgive me for my wrongs and take away my shame. I choose now to live for you.
