Youth
Hey hey Im Josh and i have the privilege of heading up the youth side of things at TLC!
I know right, pretty cool!
So, here is a snippet of what we do for and with young people;
REAL – this is our Friday Night youth group. If you are in the school years 9-13 then this is for You!
Its all about meeting with God and meeting with other people. Its a massive giggle, with an amazing chance to get stuck in. So we have the Real Christmas Ball, Guest Nights, Theme Nights, Trips out, Soul Survivor, The Weekend away, and every week between the time of 7-9.30 we meet at the TLC building and run an immense programme its loads of fun and an amazing opportunity to have an epic Friday night. But we don’t want to tell you all about it now, come and find out for yourself
Revolution – is for young people in year 7 and 8, its a huge laugh, and consists of big games like hide and seek in the dark, capture the flag … but we have a great time of worship and chance to talk through and discuss Gods heart, get deeper with him, and help with things that the guys will be going through at that age in life
Synergy – once a fortnight we run a sunday morning programme for people in year 9-11 during the preach in which we have a load of fun together but also talk through what is being preached on in more of a discussion style and ensure that it is relevant and applicable to the life of those there.
we also get involved with Compassion works and run and engage with youth events city and nation wide!
