Monday Mornings

Monday 19th October-Friday 23rd October

Here are a couple of aids for the week ahead.

READ – Here are a few suggestions of things you might try to help you stay strong in Jesus and to read his Word daily, if you are not already settled in a routine:

  • The Bible in One Year (BIOY) app (there is also a printed book by Nicky Gumbel that you can order through Amazon if you prefer). This takes you through the Bible in one year, with useful commentary, but can also be enjoyed at a slower pace if you ignore the dates!
  • Lectio365 is a Bible reading and prayer app that helps you read the Bible devotionally and turn your reflections into prayer.
  • Every Day with Jesus or Scripture Union Bible reading notes are a tried and tested tool to help you get into the Bible each day and can be ordered easily online. There are different ones to choose from.
  • There are many other ways to help yourself get strong in the Bible-why not look on a Christian bookshop website such as to find a new Bible or plan?
